Deputy Manager, Finance Executive

Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable process, including invoice verification, processing, and payment disbursement.
- Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage the monthly closing of accounts payable and prepare reports as needed.
- Maintain and create vendor records in systems as requested by users.
- Conduct regular reviews of vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance, including quarterly vendor SOA balances verification and addressing vendor account balance issues or questions.
- Maintain and ensure complete account reconciliation for all accounts payable to support audit verifications and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial assets.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the accounts payable function.
- Lead or participate in projects to automate and enhance accounts payable processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, particularly in implementing and ensuring compliance with E-Invoice requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with at least 8 years of working experience, including 5 years in Accounts Payable and 3 years in a people management role.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, policies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle.

Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
