CNC Programmer

Create instructions for machinists, programming, setup and operate 3-axis to 4-axis CNC Milling / or Lathe machines according to procedures, programs and engineering drawings to manufacture machined parts efficiently and conforming to customer’s requirement and technical specifications.
- Determine the manufacturing process in detail, discuss with production and vendors on the best machining strategy, design and document jigs, create 3-axis and 4 axis CNC machining programs and document the machine setup process.
- Analyse the technical specifications from customers and perform the necessary calculations.
- Run various simulations on the tool path and optimize it to meet expected cycle times and quality expectations
- Oversee the first article process and brief the team on all planned activities.
- Provide support on RFQ stage for Sales team and customer on the

1. Estimation on setup-time and cycle-time, special tooling cost, external process cost (wire-cut, surface grinding, EDM, Laser-marking & etc.)

2. Special / dedicated jig & fixture requirement.

3. Raw material size & specification.
- Support in solving / trouble-shooting problem found during FA / IA stage.
- Liaise with planning and ensure programming / preparation ready on time as per plan.
- Ensure released programming passing yield NOT less than 85% on the 1st attempt.
- Provide an Effective & Efficient programming with the Five (5) main criteria followed.

- Maintain good housekeeping practice at workplace and surrounding areas.
- Execute other tasks assigned by the superior.

**Authority**
- Writes / amend programs, set up and operate for CNC Machines (Milling / or Lathe) that cut and finish machined products efficiently in accordance with Customers’ and technical requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of CNC Milling / or CNC Lathe in related Precision Engineering Industry.
- Programming skill to operate Master-cam, Solid-works or Fusion
- Communication skill in achieving timely delivery and best quality of the assigned tasks.
- ISO-9001 Knowledge, GD&T, jigs and fixtures fabrication and surface treatment methods.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
