**Job purpose**

This position performs laser and Tube cutting program in accordance with the manufacturing process following process sheets (MO), standard operating procedures and to meet the required quality

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**
- Utilizes Manufacturing Orders (MO), customer drawings & Work Instructions (WI) to determine product requirements & laser cut programming.
- Performs visual and dimensional inspections to verify laser cut part in compliance with specifications.
- Program and maintain current file revisions of all laser cut parts.
- Interpret engineering drawings for programming of flat pattern layouts of parts using CAD/CAM software.
- Perform reverse engineering of laser cut parts for manufacturing.
- Make machine & tooling selections to manufacture parts in the most cost-effective manner.
- Prepare detailed standardized set-up sheets.
- Check completed programe jobs by using simulation or test, to manufacturing Consult with management to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Job assignment to be given from time to time.

**Work experience and education requirements**
- Must have superior computer programming skills.
- Good active listening skills.
- Must be able to work effectively with little or no supervision.
- Must have the ability to write and read complex spreadsheets.
- Must have the ability to do CAD, 3D/2D file & Laser Machine Program (Trumpf, Tru Tops Boost).
- Knowledge in laser cutting processes
- Able to read and understand basic English, engineering drawing, laser cutting procedure etc

**Other requirements**
- Able to meet tight production schedule
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to work longer working duration when required by Supervisor
- Must be willing to work in areas with high levels of noise such as plants or engineering departments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
