You will play a vital role in ensuring our software is high-quality and reliable through automated testing. You'll collaborate with senior QA engineers and developers to automate testing for products or projects and improve our software development process. Here are the key responsibilities:
**Test Planning and Strategy**:

- Assist in creating test plans and strategies.
- Identify areas suitable for automation in collaboration with senior testers and developers.

**Test Automation**:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JavaScript, Python, Postman, etc.
- Execute automated tests and handle defects.
- Continuously improve automated test scripts.

**Manual Testing**:

- Perform manual tests, especially in areas not covered by automation.
- Plan for automation in the future.

**Defect Reporting**:

- Identify, document, and track software defects in the issue tracking system.

**Regression Testing**:

- Ensure new changes do not harm existing functionality through regression testing.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with senior testers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.

**Documentation**:

- Document test cases, monitor results, and create reports using tools like TestRail and PivotalTracker.

**Continuous Learning**:

- Independently learn about testing methodologies and automation tools.
- Provide feedback and suggest necessary training for self and team members.

**Problem Solving**:

- Use problem-solving methods to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with others to identify root causes and solutions.
- Share your knowledge with the team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM5,300.00 per month
