In this role, you'll work closely with experienced professionals to automate testing processes and improve our software development practices.

As a Software Quality Analyst Automation Tester, your responsibilities will include:

- Test Planning and Strategy: Assist in creating test plans and strategies, collaborating with senior testers and developers to identify areas suitable for automation.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript & Python, execute automated test cases, report defects, and optimize test scripts.
- Manual Testing: Perform manual testing when necessary, especially for areas not covered by automation, and explore automation possibilities for manual test cases.
- Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking systems.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after changes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Documentation: Document test cases and monitor test results using tools like TestRail.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with testing methodology and automation tools, providing feedback for necessary training to upskill team members. Problem Solving: Solve identified issues through problem-solving methodologies, collaborate with other departments to resolve issues, and share learnings with the team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, or Software Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Fresh graduates with exceptional self-starter competencies will also be considered.
- Experience in the Financial Services and Technology sectors is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in test automation script languages such as Python, Java, etc.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of bug lifecycle, testing methodology, and Agile/DevOps processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, preferably in English.
- Exposure to working in an agile environment is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and teamwork.
- ISTQB or similar test certification is a plus.
