**Role Purpose**:

- Accountable for development of quality and innovative inflight offerings for the assigned region (meal and beverages) that will align with strategies set by the Product Department at optimal cost and position Malaysia Airlines competitively in the inflight catering industry. Ensure timely and effective implementation of all menus by region through effective management of SLA with Caterer and utilization of In-Flight Catering Operations System (ICOS).

**Key Accountability**:

- Plan, develop, and monitor menus according to market and industry trends (customer preference and profile of passengers) through a high level of creativity and innovation.
- Develop and lead the execution of benchmarking inflight offerings to ensure MAB inflight offerings are aligned with the Company's objectives to achieve the desired Customer Value Proposition
- Monitor, audit, and enhance the execution of Charter/Ad-hoc flights by coordinating with stakeholders and team members, thereby ensuring the efficient implementation of menu cycle changes within the agreed-upon timeline
- Monitor the accuracy and timeline of data updates in ICOS and issuance of instruction to stakeholders on all F&B-related matters.
- Accountable by ensuring that pricing is approved before implementing menu changes and maintaining consistent quality of inflight meals through ongoing sensory evaluation of the meals.
- Key member of tender exercise for selection of new caterers including menu development in collaboration with caterers during the tender process, ensuring compliance with the agreed SLA. This includes creating detailed recipes and specifications for each menu component, rotating them for all outbound and domestic MAB flights across routes, zones, and services.
- Prepare and present the performance report on caterers regarding F&B with detailed reports to the QA/Halal team and Senior Management as and when required by ensuring MAB offering of acceptable standard through continuous industry benchmarking of menu design with other airlines, restaurants, and food production companies.
- Engage & communicate effectively with colleagues in other sections/departments of the company - Marketing, Crew, and Service Delivery Caterers to ensure smooth delivery of inflight offerings.
- Represent MAB as a culinary ambassador for special food functions and MAB-related events and promotions when requested by the management.
- Monitor and audit the standards of meals prepared according to Islamic and Malaysian Halal Standards and cover all HACCP standards as well for meals catered by Caterers ex-stations.
- Support Unit Head in setting the highest possible food quality standards for all on MAB ground F&B outlets according to MAB-specific requirements and including training sessions for the crew, road show, and management food presentations.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of working experience
- Areas of Experience : Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and performance management
