Assist to collaborate with federal and state Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and other regulatories bodies. -Conduct inspection and rectify any unsafe act and unsafe condition at the workplace -Supervise of sub-contractors’ activities to ensure compliance with the Act, Regulations and site rules. Ensure sub
- contractor have proper safety credentials -Responsible for ensuring that workers are properly trained regarding company-specific and -Occupational Safety and Health Act or other safety requirements. Training responsibilities may involve conducting safety induction, safety briefing, periodic safety committee meetings and formal training sessions on a wide range of safety-related topics -Responsible for making sure that all safety equipment are inspected and properly maintained. -Tasks may include periodic facility fire inspections, getting fire extinguishers charged regularly, verifying that first aid kits are properly stocked and ensuring that equipment are serviced following an appropriate schedule. -Ensure avaibility of safety data sheet (SDS) for chemical or hazardous materials use at project site -Monitor the safety and congestion of roads and streets -monitor lifting/loading activities to verify safe loading/lifting capacities of the equipment and rigging are not exceeded -Participate and assist in conducting risk assessments, auditings, emergency exercise, incident investigation and reporting -Involved in creating, maintaining and communicating safety-related policies, integrated management system, procedures, instruction, plan and program. -Involved in determining the need for new policies and procedures and writing, editing and updating policy and procedure documents, posters, handbooks etc -Responsible for enforcement of safety policies and procedures, including making decisions regarding appropriate disciplinary measures for infractions. -Ensure site HSE documentation are maintained up to date and filing in place accordingly -Assist immediate superior to collect and compile relevent monthly HSE related data, statistic, report etc -Promote health, safety and environmental awereness and program at workplace. -Any other duties assigned by superior and management from time to time
