**Job Title**:Site Safety Supervisor

**Location**: Batu Gajah, Perak
**Employment Type**: Contract (until completion of project)
**Department**: Construction

**Job Summary**:
The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing all safety policies and procedures at the construction or project site. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a safe working environment and minimizes workplace incidents through continuos monitoring, training and enforcement of safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all site operations comply with local regulations, safety laws and company safety policies.
- Enforce corrective and preventive actions to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, unsafe conditions and non-compliance issues.
- Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments (RA) and Hazard Identification (HAZID)
- Evaluate potential risks associated with tasks, equipment and work areas.
- Conduct incident investigations, determine root causes and prepare reports.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and onboarding sessions for workers and subcontractors.
- Conduct environmental awareness training and toolbox talks for site staff and contractors.
- Organize safety drills (fire, evacuation, first aid)
- Communicate safety rules, emergency procedures and safe work practices clearly.
- Prepare daily/weekly safety reports for management and clients.
- Participate in site meetings to provide updates on safety issues and improvement plans.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in construction, engineering, or industrial safety supervision.
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety laws and regulations.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, safety management software)
- Ability to adapt to dynamic project environments.

**Job Types**: Contract, Temporary

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
