We are looking for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to be part of the finance team. This position plays a key role in:

- Managing investor relations and analyst queries
- Corporate exercises such as capital raising, IPO, merging and acquisition
- Performing company valuation and assessment
- Preparing Board Papers and managing Board matters with company secretary
- Preparing Business Paper
- Maintaining statutory account for airasia Super App

**What You’ll Do**:
1) Managing investor relations and analyst queries
- Responsible for the preparation of quarterly Investee Reporting on key financial and key operating indicators on a timely manner and accurate basis.
- Preparation of the Investor deck with time-to-time update.
- Being the focal point in answering queries posted by investors and analysts.

2) Corporate exercises such as capital raising, IPO, merging and acquisition, etc.
- Liaise with the relevant parties for information gathering and drafting of business cases.
- Responsible for performing studies and analysis on corporate exercises to provide recommendations to management for decision making.

3) Performing company valuation and assessment
- Build dynamic financial modelling to analyze and evaluate the valuation of the company.
- Analyze and assess the existing or potential market trends.
- Identifying strategy on competitive advantages.
- Ensure the valuation is appropriately articulated to management and investors.

4) Preparing Board Papers and managing Board matters with Company Secretary
- Liaise with Company Secretary on fixing the Board Meeting dates
- Follow up with Company Secretary on the Board Meeting minutes
- Preparation of Board Meeting Agenda for circulation by Company Secretary
- Answering matters arising from the previous Board Meetings
- Liaise with relevant parties in the preparation and consolidation of Board papers
- Perform sanity and reasonableness checking on the information of papers submitted to ensure alignment to Company’s goal as a whole
- Ensure proper and consistent formatting for all the papers submitted
- Ensuring the Board Paper is circulated in accordance to the stipulated timeline in the Company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association (M&A).

5) Preparing Business Paper
- Preparing Business Paper with proper studies and thought through process which input will be instrumental in strategic planning and decision making by the Senior Management and Board Members.
- Liaise with the relevant parties for information gathering and drafting of business paper

6) Financial Analysis
- Responsible for preparing periodic reports, comparing actual to budget, quarterly forecast and prior year, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance in a robust manner.
- Independently drive solutions and demand actions from others to address any unexpected variances or gaps.

7) Process improvement and ad-hoc assignments
- Lead or assist in the implementation of advances in technology and software to improve financial planning, reporting, analysis and controls, including creating financial models using electronic spreadsheets/platforms to deal with any ad hoc financial analysis requests or management information requests.
- Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer to initiate and drive continuous process improvement and best practices in all aspects of work.
- To assist on ad-hoc assignments as assigned by management from time to time

**What You'll Need**:

- Degree in Accountancy / Finance or Professional Accounting Qualification.
- Possesses minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in accounting firm or financial services industry.
- Agile and ability to thrive in a demanding, change oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline driven productivity and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
- Numbers-savvy, proactive and possessing a positive attitude.
- Must be meticulous and an eye for detail in all aspects of work.
- Must be a team player and able to work independently.
- Able to build strong working relationships and matured to get connected at all levels
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and people.
- Innovative and retain fresh thinking with a passion for solving problems and an ability to inspire others
- High level of creativity and experience doing independent research.
- Strong project management skills to execute special projects and strategic initiatives
- Work with speed and manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Must have good command of English.
- Possess strong computer skills in Excel/Google Sheet and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
- Experience in SQL, PowerPoint or VBA is a plus.
- Good communication skills at all levels within an organisation and can demonstrate excellent report writing skills.
