IT Server Technician

Willing to handle/hands on physical tasks on server/IT devices’ setup, Data Centre infrastructure maintenance, physical walk-in troubleshoot. Will also need to support additional operations task as supervising shipping, network jobs, vendor management, etc.
- No physical/health concern to sometimes having to handle heavy IT devices (on a buddy system); in short job requires 30% from laptop & 70% IT related physical tasks.
- Able to hold pager/hot-phone which need to standby for any after office hours incident, and may require to go on-site, rotation on weekly basis.
- Interest, and willing to learn on IT hardware and related aspects of things, not explicitly prioritising the software based only.
- Good ability to communicate via English both spoken and written
- Hardworking and diligent to manage own time and quickly complete any task given, when given multiple tasks, have the ability to define priority and complete accordingly.
- Possess own transportation and able to travel to Kulim if required even at odd hours.
- Able to follow instructions and have common sense/logical thinking on do’s and don’ts of IT/Computing/DC devices.

**Requirements**:

- At least 1-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent
- Preferably staying near Bayan Lepas area to ease on call support.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Bayan Lepas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: On the road
