Job Description

General administration

Receive and store stocks.
Take delivery of stocks.
Inventories and store stocks according to enterprise rotating stock cycle.
Maintain stock in accordance with company regulations.

Control and Order Stocks
Determine and maintain stock level and records.
Organize and administer stock-take.
Process stock order
Follow-up orders
Prepares the requisition for all necessary food and beverage items (e.g. coffee, milk) and general operating equipment

Monitor Work Operations
Plan and organize workflows Serves as a role model for employees through teamwork support, attention to detail, quality control, and interactions with Team Members/guests and to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment
Monitor and improve workflow operations
Maintain workplace records.
Solve problems and make decisions.
Supervises the performance and the service of staff on a daily basis
Maintains a high profile during operations to ensure that standards of quality and service are consistently maintained, and recommends areas for improvement
Handles the control and protection of all cleaning supplies and operating equipment, ensuring that these are properly stored and handled in order to minimize losses/breakages
Takes responsibility for all monthly inventories
Report maintenance problems to Engineering or to the Department concerned.

Respond to incoming telephone inquiries

Participate in casual conversation to establish customer report
Provide detailed information to Team Members/guests
Give complex instructions
Deal with Team Member/guest complaints

Training and Human resources Development

Deliver Training Sessions
Prepare training participants
Present training sessions
Facilitate individual and group training
Provide opportunities for practice and feedback
Review delivery of training sessions
Conducts training sessions with all staff based on the Operations Manual
Assists in the systematic training of all staff to ensure their effectiveness on the job
To keep well-versed and updated with Forbes standards for Hotels and Restaurants.
Work together with Training and Development team to analyse reports and plan strategies to achieve the 5-Star rating for Forbes.
To personally drive staff training and development to achieve the standards at every level.

Roster Staff
Develop and implement staff rosters
Maintain staff records

Monitor Staff Performance
Provide performance feedback
Recognize and resolve performance problems
Implement performance appraisal system.
Participates in the on-going coaching of F&B team members to ensure optimal effectiveness.

Requirement

Education

Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate or Bachelor's/College Degree in HRM or equivalent
Formal butler education is preferred

Work experience

At least 2 years’ experience as a professional butler in other recognized 5-star hotels / resorts / casino properties locally and/or in overseas.
