**Job Scope**:
Job Overview:
Reporting to the Operation HOD, the Production Assistant Manager/Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the overall production operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
**Production**
- Supervise, guide, co-work, monitor with production team especially Production supervisor to plan and execute the daily production activities in ensuring meeting the targeted result at highest quality and yield.
- Responsible for the effective and successful management of productivity, quality control, labor and safety measures. Analyse process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement change.
- Monitoring and analysing the current system of production or provision to check it’s effective, and working out a strategy for improving if necessary.
- Monitor production lines, identify bottlenecks, and implement measures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Analyse production data and provide reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making.
- Assist in the implementation of production improvement projects and initiatives.
- Train and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to recommend innovative production practices.
- Ensuring machinery and equipment in production floor are properly upkeep and maintain at the optimum conditions. Preventive maintenance conducted as per plan.

**Warehouse**
- Supervise, guide, co-work, monitor with store/delivery team in carry out store management, receiving and delivery plan effectively.
- Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization and inventory management.
- Perform analysis of inventory and ensure utilizing the inventory effectively, purchasing the right
- Supervise, guide, co-work, monitor with store/delivery team in carry out store management, receiving and delivery plan effectively.
- Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization and inventory management.
- Perform analysis of inventory and ensure utilizing the inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data and reduce slow moving items
- Responsible for maintaining the status of LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse):

- Ensuring reports are generated timely and accurately (reports prepared in a periodic manner, i.e., Opening, In, Out and closing value.)
- Keep track of the year-to-date purchases to ensure they do not exceed the approved limit
- Ensure sources of information compiled manually in many reports is traceable to avoid issues raise during audit
- Providing a centralized repository of data that can be retrieved at any time

**Others**
- Liaising with other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organization, presenting findings to higher management
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits.
- Communicate with legal counsel and safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulations
- Interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; authoring and discussing with employees on performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.
- 5S coordinator
- Be a resource for 5S on the floor and management
- Train employees on 5S principles
- Audit lines and hold them accountable
- Prepare and post visual components on shop floor
- Work with personnel on the floor.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in any Science/Engineering stream or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in production management within the similar industry sector
- Strong knowledge of production processes and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
