**About the Job**

As a Manager, Engineering (Research & Development), you will play a critical role in overseeing the overall Research & Development activities. This position involves leading and managing the R&D department, ensuring seamless project execution, and guiding, motivating, and training subordinates to enhance performance. From developing new glove products to evaluating new materials and troubleshooting production defects, you will be instrumental in driving innovation and maintaining product excellence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee overall R&D activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Perform manpower planning, recruitment, and training for the R&D department in accordance with company policies.
- Manage and lead the R&D team to ensure smooth project execution and performance improvement.
- Provide adequate training for R&D staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Develop new glove products through research and experimentation.
- Coordinate the evaluation of new latex or chemicals for use in glove production.
- Monitor new product or material trials on production lines.
- Assist the production or compounding department in troubleshooting defects.
- Liaise with marketing to understand market trends and develop new products accordingly.
- Negotiate with suppliers for new raw materials.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the immediate superior.
- Adhere to selected work process procedures/instructions within the scope of authority.

**Qualifications & Experiences Needed**
- Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent from reputable universities.
- Proficient in English and Malay (spoken and written).
- Results-oriented with strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Pleasant personality with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the glove industry or 5 years of managerial experience.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
