**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE**:
**Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and manage the inventory of medical and non-medical supplies in the healthcare facility.
- Conduct regular audits to track stock levels, expiration dates, and usage patterns.
- Utilize inventory management software to accurately record and track stock movements.

**Receiving and Issuing**:

- Receive deliveries of supplies and verify their accuracy and condition.
- Label, sort, and properly store items in designated storage areas.
- Process and fulfill requests for supplies from different departments within the facility.

**Distribution and Distribution Tracking**:

- Distribute supplies to various departments according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of supply distribution and usage to ensure accountability and cost-effectiveness.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that all supplies meet required quality and safety standards.
- Handle recalls or defective items in coordination with appropriate departments and suppliers.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to inventory, orders, and supplies.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption patterns, and supply expenses.

**Collaboration and Communication**:
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, administrators, stakeholders to understand supply needs and preferences.

**Basic Requirements and Skills needed**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
