Steel CNC Operator (Plasma or Press Brake Experience)

We are looking for Steel CNC Operators to work in the United Kingdom.

**Responsibilities**:

- A steel CNC operator is responsible for operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to cut and shape steel into various designs and shapes.
- They work in a variety of settings, including manufacturing facilities and metalworking shops. Steel CNC operators are responsible for programming the machine to create specific designs and shapes, as well as loading and unloading materials onto the machine.
- They must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams, as well as use a variety of tools and software programs.
- Steel CNC operators are also responsible for maintaining the machine and ensuring that it is in good working condition, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- They must be able to work quickly and efficiently, while also maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in CNC machining is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator, particularly with steel materials.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines, including knowledge of programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tools, and techniques, with a focus on steel machining.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes.
- Steel CNC operators must have a thorough knowledge of CNC machines and associated software programs, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- They must also be physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
