**Job Scope and Responsibilities**:
1. You will be the teacher in charge, working with your student between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Wednesday to Saturday) within the following environments:
A. A class room environment

C. Extracurricular activities (occasionally)

2. You will be required to determine the pathway of the curriculum you teach (English, Mathematics, Science, Geography & Social Sciences - the world around us) based on the student's needs and recommend/assemble appropriate materials to facilitate this curriculum.

3. You will be required to collect information pertaining to the progress of your lessons, to convey to the support team. This information will be used to better support the student's overall development.

4. As is required by any teaching position, weekly and monthly progress/ assessment reports need to be submitted.

5. This is a part time position, Wednesday to Saturday (10am to 5pm). Lessons will be conducted in the student's home (currently in Kuala Lumpur - walking distance from Ampang Park LRT station).

**Requirements**:

- General Teaching experience is a definite asset. A minimum working experience at Primary level, Grade 1 to 6. Specific teaching experience with autism/special needs children is not a pre-requisite but is definitely an asset.
- Experience teaching in an international school curriculum/environment will be an asset.
- A good analytical mind to develop and teach English, dynamic functional Mathematics at Grade 1 to 6 and to develop other general life skill like computer skills, office skills etc. will be expected.
- Related work experience and relevant life experiences are an added advantage.
- Competent levels of using Microsoft Office, MS Words, MS Power Point etc. is extremely essential, as is a good command of using the internet as a resource for teaching and locating supporting materials to create teaching materials. We emphasize tailored and individualized teaching approaches.

**Additional Requirements & Information**:
2. The successful applicants should possess excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills and high levels of EQ (vs. IQ).

3. Effective time management is an essential skill required to ensure timely adherence to deadlines for lesson plans.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
