Position Summary

We are looking for suitably qualified, inspirational and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our forward thinking and dynamic teaching team to provide quality teaching and learning for our students .

Job descriptions

  • To teach or conduct activities related to developing teaching for learning up to a maximum of 50% of the timetable and including weekends, ensuring effective planning and delivery of lessons in line with the syllabuses and schemes of work and departmental/whole school policies.
  • To develop and review syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and teaching and learning strategies in the department.
  • To lead learning and promote a high standard of teaching within the department, monitoring academic standards and ensuring with others that the students' learning is effective and continuous, enabling them to achieve the best results of which they are capable.
  • To oversee the organisation and development of the ECA extra- curricular activities and CCA co-curricular activities programmes.
  • To engage students to participate and build up the students confidence in physical education activities.
  • To teach students the fundamental techniques of physical education.
  • To plan and implement appropriate PE programs to support and enhance children's understanding of health, physical exercise and safety.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Physically fit and healthy.
  • Patience and empathy towards students.

Job requirements

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Sports Science or equivalent.

Required language(s): High Proficiency in English

At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
