AlS International School follows the Cambridge curriculum for primary, secondary, and IGCSE levels. We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Education Teacher who demonstrates a dynamic teaching style and a passion for promoting health, fitness, and sportsmanship among students. Candidates with prior teaching experience and familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and standards will be given preference.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering engaging PE lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
  • Teaching a range of physical activities, sports, and fitness concepts across different grade levels.
  • Promoting physical well-being, teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among students.
  • Organizing, supervising, and coaching students for school sports events and competitions.
  • Ensuring the safety and proper use of sports facilities and equipment.
  • Assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Assisting in school CCA (Co-Curricular Activities) and ECA (Extra-Curricular Activities) programs, including sports clubs, teams, and events.
  • Maintaining clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Preparing lesson plans, assessments, activity reports, and progress evaluations.

Requirements

  • Experienced in teaching primary, secondary, and IGCSE levels.
  • Relevant Degree qualification in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field, along with a teaching qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
  • Creativity and a growth mindset in delivering engaging activities.
  • High standards of professionalism.
  • Proven record of effective teaching and student engagement.
  • Strong classroom and activity management skills.
  • Good communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
