Planner (Material & Production)

**Planner (Material & Production) - OEM Division**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in **production planning, material planning or inventory control** within a **manufacturing environment**.
- Knowledge in **SAP**or other **ERP systems** (production planning and inventory modules) is preferred.
- Good knowledge of logistics scheduling and basic export documentation (LMW knowledge is an advantage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams and customers.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.

**Scope of Duties**

**1. Production Planning**
- Actively communicate with the customer about the latest forecast, any changes to the order or any problems related to the supply.
- Create an efficient production plan based on the forecast or order received.
- Revise or update the production plan when required and inform related parties of the change in a timely manner.
- Monitor production progress and coordinate with the related production personnel to ensure there are no delays or to solve delays, with no impact or minimum impact on the customer.
- Report any problems or risks related to the production plan or delay to the management when required.

**2. Inventory Control**
- Ensure sufficient stock of materials or components are available to prevent any production stoppage, by considering the forecast, production plan as well as the lead time of the materials or components.
- Manage enough material or component safety stock to prevent any production stoppage when there is a disruption to the supply.
- Organize a stock count monthly or as required to monitor inventory levels and identify any discrepancies.
- Manage materials and components appropriately to ensure quality is maintained.

**3. Logistics**
- Arrange shipments of finished goods to customers.
- Coordinate with logistics providers for booking and delivery schedules.
- Mitigate problems related to delivery to avoid impacting supply to the customer

**4. Coordination**
- Liaise with production, warehouse, customer service and other internal teams.
- Support cross-functional coordination, 5S initiatives, and assist with ad hoc tasks as required.

**5. Others**
- Work together with related departments whenever needed.
- Ensure employees conduct 5S activities in the work area. Ensure cleanliness of the work area, especially in the clean room.
- Attend meetings as representative as needed.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks which are related to the job scope.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
