**Job Summary**:

- To plan, monitor, organize, lead, implement and manage the assigned project at site to ensure completed and closed within stipulated time and compliances with the specification, cost and contract requirement. Responsible to assist Head of Section in implementation and managing selected CAPEX projects which to be aligned with Company’s requirements, policies, objectives and KPI.
- **I)Main roles and responsibilities**_
- Assist Head of Section for the management of selected CAPEX projects from planning, design, tendering until construction completion. The job scopes cover from the planning, design, execution, testing & commissioning, monitoring and successful completion of the project as per the requirement.
- Prepare project report from time to time as instructed by management.
- Coordinate and monitor project progress of work, highlight any issue and outstanding matters including technical, commercial, HSE, social etc. which required to be resolved in order to smoothen the project progress and completed on time.
- Assist Head of Section in verification of the Contractor’s and Consultant’s progress of claim and resolve any contractual issue or dispute claims arise from Contractor & Consultant.
- Liaise with Legal & Company Secretarial Department and Procurement Department for contractual matters i.e. Termination of Contract.
- Assist Head of Section in project coordination and as chairperson of the monthly project meeting with Contractor and Consultant.
- Prepare recommendation paper for management approval on the project contractual matters i.e: CAI, EOT, Termination, VO, CPC, CNC, CMGD etc.
- Liaise with Resident Association (RA), local authorities, local council, third parties or public in related to the project for the accomplishment of the work
- Review and response the project documentations submitted by Contractor, Consultant, Region Office and Authorities.
- Attending any internal or external meeting as instructed by management and liaises with the Local Authorities and other agencies from time to time.
- Respond on third party complaint on the issue arise due to project implementation and initiate corrective action to the complainant
- Witness and endorse Testing and Commissioning of handed over equipment and projects.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and standard.
- Provide and maintain a healthy and safe workplace for all employees in compliance with all requirements on safety, health, and environment.
- Assist Design Unit during design stage on providing necessary information based on previous CAPEX project experience.

**Compliance with ISO Clause 5.3 Organisational roles, responsibilities and authority**
- Always adhere to Air Selangor Integrated Management System (AIMS) and HSE policy and involvement in implementing the Management System.
- Ensure the objective/KPI are established in line with the Company's contexts, strategic direction and purpose.
- Aware, understand and manage key risks, hazards and aspects of your work activities.
- Acknowledge your right not to conduct any work deemed to be harmful to your health and safety 5. Aware and understand your roles and responsibility to provide support during the execution of Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) during crisis/emergency, ensuring the continuation of water supply to the consumer at highest quality and providing the best service and customer experience.
- Aware and understand the asset criticality in the operational activities and ensure all assets are maintained in good working conditions.
- Aware and understand the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information assets under your custodian.
- Aware and understand the whistle-blower policy and carry out daily job activity with full integrity
- Practice SACRED personality while carrying out daily job activity, which includes: Safety Conscious - Agile - Creative - Reliable - Efficient - Digitally driven

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- Minimum 6-8 years’ working experience in water industry, project & contract management and construction industry field.
- Knowledge in project management software i.e. Microsoft Project
- Well verse in Microsoft Office
- In-depth understanding of Contractual terms, Air Selangor Standard Operating Procedure, Air Selangor Specification, SPAN regulation, water distribution system
- Project Management - planning and scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting work, and consultant/contractor performance.
- Liaison skills - Liaise with consultants, contractors, authorities, residents’ associations, elected representatives, etc.
- Have a strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and organized with less supervision
- Good leadership skills and promote teamwork.
