**Responsibilities**:
**1. Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities**
- Developing QA Plans and Procedures: Creating comprehensive Quality Assurance plans, procedures, and policies to ensure all fabricated products meet the required quality standards and client specifications.
- Implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS): Establishing and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with standards like ISO 9001, ASME, API, or other relevant industry standards.
- Supplier and Subcontractor Evaluation: Conducting audits and evaluations of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they meet the company's quality requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements, reducing defects, and enhancing product quality throughout the fabrication process.
- Training and Awareness: Organizing training sessions and awareness programs for the fabrication team to promote adherence to quality standards and procedures.

**2. Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities**
- Inspection and Testing: Overseeing inspections, tests, and verification of materials, welds, fabrication processes, and finished products to ensure they meet specified standards.
- NDT (Non-Destructive Testing): Supervising techniques like Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) to detect defects without damaging the
- product.
- Dimensional Checks: Ensuring that the fabricated items have the correct dimensions and tolerances as per the design drawings.
- Defect Analysis: Investigating the root causes of defects or non-conformances and implementing corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Documentation and Reporting: Preparing quality reports, inspection records, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensuring all quality documentation is maintained for audit purposes.
- Compliance to Codes and Standards: Verifying that the fabrication adheres to standards like ASME, AWS, API, or client-specific requirements.

**3. Project-Specific Activities**
- Client Interaction: Acting as the primary point of contact with clients or their representatives for quality-related matters, addressing their concerns, and keeping them informed of progress.
- Project Quality Plan (PQP): Developing a Project Quality Plan that outlines the quality requirements, inspection points, and acceptance criteria for specific projects.
- Third-Party Inspections: Coordinating with third-party inspection agencies for independent verification of fabrication quality, when required by client or regulatory standards.
- Material Traceability: Ensuring all materials used in fabrication have traceability, which includes mill certificates, batch numbers, and compliance with material specifications.

**4. Safety and Compliance**
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Integration: Working closely with HSE teams to integrate quality and safety practices into the fabrication processes, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all fabrication activities comply with local, national, and international regulations and standards governing the oil and gas industry.

**5. Leadership and Team Management**
- Supervision and Guidance: Leading a team of QA/QC inspectors, coordinators, and quality engineers to ensure all activities meet quality standards.
- Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively to ensure timely inspections and quality checks without causing production delays.
- Problem-Solving: Resolving quality-related issues quickly and effectively to prevent disruptions in production and project timelines.

**6. Monitoring and Audits**
- Internal Audits: Conducting regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
- Vendor and Fabricator Audits: Evaluating and auditing external vendors, subcontractors, and fabricators to verify their compliance with specified quality standards.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- Proven experience as QAQC Manager in Construction Industry.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to detect minor deviations from standards that could affect product quality.
- Analytical Skills: Strong skills in root cause analysis and the ability to design and implement corrective actions.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are clearly understood and met.
- Leadership: Strong leadership qualities to manage teams and guide them toward achieving high-quality standards.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
