Legal Executive

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Legal Documentation & Contract Management**:
- Draft, review, and manage various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
- Ensure all legal documents comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain an organized database of contracts and legal records.
**2. Compliance & Regulatory Support**:
- Assist in ensuring the company complies with local and international laws, including corporate governance, labor laws, and industry regulations.
- Support in managing corporate filings and regulatory submissions.
- Keep up to date with changes in laws and advise the company on necessary actions.
**3. Legal Research & Advisory**:
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Provide legal insights and support to internal teams on business operations, contracts, and risk management.
- Assist in preparing reports and legal opinions.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings when required.
**4. Dispute Resolution & Litigation Support**:
- Support the legal team in handling disputes, litigation, and arbitration matters.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and coordinate documentation for legal proceedings.
- Maintain records of ongoing legal cases and their progress.
**5. Intellectual Property & Data Protection**
- Assist in protecting company intellectual property, including trademarks and copyrights.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws and advise on privacy-related matters.
**6. Corporate Governance & Stakeholder Management**:
- Support board meetings by preparing minutes, resolutions, and corporate governance documents.
- Assist in handling legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies, legal firms, and stakeholders on legal matters**.**:
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Superior/Senior Management team.
- The Company reserves the right to amend the job description and/or assign additional tasks as deemed necessary.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in a legal or corporate law environment.
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and contract law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and research skills.
- Familiarity with legal software and document management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple legal matters simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
