**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Purchasing cum Materials Planning Executive** to manage procurement activities and materials planning. This role ensures timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining optimal inventory levels to support smooth production and operational processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Purchasing**:

- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on requisitions and approved budgets.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, price lists, and purchase records.

**Materials Planning**:

- Analyze production schedules and forecast material requirements.
- Plan and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to align material availability.
- Monitor material usage trends and adjust planning strategies accordingly.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

**Administrative & Reporting**:

- Prepare reports on procurement status, cost savings, and inventory performance.
- Participate in cost reduction initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Ensure accurate documentation and filing of all procurement-related records.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in purchasing and materials planning, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- **Skills**:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
