We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as **Vice President, Fund Services - Project Lead Analyst - (Hybrid)** (Internal Job Title: Operations Core Project Lead Analyst - C13) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. **In this role, you’re expected to**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President - Project Lead to join our Fund Operations Change team. This role is critical in driving strategic initiatives, managing complex projects, and ensuring the successful implementation of operational improvements within the **Fund Services area across Middle Office, Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency.**The VP - Project Lead will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing project budgets, and delivering projects on time and within scope. This position requires a strong understanding of fund services operations, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the day-to-day management of executing to milestones and budget on one or more projects.
- Assess creation of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
- Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives and confirm project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents.
- Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand project schedule and key milestones.
- Escalate project risks to the Project Director, or Project Sponsor, when appropriate.
- Ensure vendor performance is monitored and actions taken if performance warrants.
- Provides sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Directly affects the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

**Qualifications**:

- 6-10 years of experience on significant client change or implementation programs, preferably within Fund Operations/Investor Services space
- Working experience and/or expertise around local/APAC landscape, environment, and specifics
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget
- Continuous improvement and transformation-related skillset and mindset with proven track record of the same
- Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Stakeholders’ management skills, ability to build long-term relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
