**Responsibilities of a Junior Quantity Surveyor (Junior QS)**:
**1. Assist with Cost Estimations**
- Support the preparation of initial cost estimates and project budgets.
- Gather pricing data for materials, labour, and equipment.

**2. Prepare and Take Off Quantities**
- Measure and quantify materials from drawings (manual or using software).
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for tender and construction use.

**3. Support Tendering Process**
- Help in preparing tender documents and assisting in tender evaluations.
- Collect and analyse supplier/contractor quotations.

**4. Contract and Subcontract Administration**
- Assist in managing contract documentation.
- Support the preparation of interim payment claims, variations, and final accounts.

**5. Site Visits and Progress Monitoring**
- Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and verify completed quantities.
- Assist in preparing progress reports and verifying contractor claims.

**6. Procurement Support**
- Assist in sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers.
- Help monitor delivery schedules and cost control of purchased items.

**7. Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain accurate records of project transactions, drawings, and site instructions.
- Prepare and update cost tracking reports and documentation.

**8. Coordination and Communication**
- Liaise with site staff, consultants, and contractors.
- Attend project meetings as required and record minutes/actions.

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
