**Job description**:

- Assist the chef in running the kitchen on a daily basis and maintain the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Assist in managing the increased workload during peak hours.
- Assist the Chef to cook and prepare of basic dishes with the direction of the chef, getting supplies from the storage, plating and garnishing food, and setting up the cooking equipment.
- Assist with food preparation duties, including washing, chopping, slicing, and peeling fruits and preparing basic items like spices and sauces.
- Assist with inventory management including monitoring, maintaining, and restocking as needed. Keep a check on the amount of inventory, and notify the Chef when supplies need to be refilled.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by cleaning countertops, sinks, stovetops, and other surfaces. Regularly sweep and mop floors. Dispose of kitchen waste properly.
- Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required /assigned by the chef

**Job Requirements**:

- Accuracy and speed in carrying out duties
- Have basic cooking experience and knowledge
- Excellent in using a variety of techniques, materials, tools, and equipment in the kitchen.
- Previous basic cooking experience in western food is a great benefit

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
