Vacancy - Functional Analyst / Product Manager

Location - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

JD
1. Part of the Functional team at FinTech and will be responsible for Development / Implementation / Support of FinTech software products.
2. Collecting and documenting requirements from clients, coordinating with product development team for delivery
3. Validating and testing of functionality, conduct detailed tests, contributing to continuous enrichment of user guides / manuals
4. Implement the product at client site, as part of Implementation, will be responsible for supporting the users in user acceptance tests, conducting user training, coordinating with technical teams, documenting user requirements, assisting in data migration / reconciliation and reporting
5. Providing support to existing clients on the product
6. Ability to work as per client’s working hours
7. Manage releases from the product team to the client installations

Requirement
1. Should be either from BA background or accounting background.
2. Knowledge of SQL / Microsoft Excel / Microsoft PowerPoint / Microsoft Word is a plus.
4. Different asset classes and their attributes. Specifically, Equity and Fixed Income instruments
5. Corporate actions and how they impact holding
6. Various analytical ratios such as Modified Duration, Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio, TWRR, Yield etc
7. NAV and its components and so on
8. Investment accounting, Bank Ledger entries
9. Educational Background: Finance / Commerce Graduates
10. Should be either from BA background or accounting background.
11. Knowledge of SQL / Microsoft Excel / Microsoft PowerPoint / Microsoft Word is a plus.

Exposure / Understanding of the following areas is a pre-requisite:
1.Understanding of all asset classes (Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Forex etc.) and examples of each type.
2.Attributes of each of these asset classes.
3. Experience in Fund Reporting especially with Hedge Funds or AIFs.
4. Investment Accounting (General Ledger)
5. Understanding of various types of corporate actions
6. Understanding of NFO, IPO, Primary Market, Secondary Market etc
7. NAV Calculation
8. Various types of fees associated with a trade and basic understanding of each fee
9. Basic understanding of how accounting is done for each type of transaction.
10. Knowledge of Pricing, Valuation, Gain / Loss computation, Interest computation, Amortization, Reconciliation and Reporting

**Salary**: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
