This individual will be involved in helping the organization to comply with data protection and privacy regulations, promoting security awareness among employees and overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure. **Responsibilities**:
**Security Management**:

- Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization's information and assets.
- Managing security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Monitoring for security breaches and responding to incidents as needed.

**Compliance and Regulation**:

- Ensuring that the organization complies with relevant data protection and privacy laws in Malaysia, such as the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
- Staying up to date with local regulations and industry standards related to IT security.

**Risk Management**:

- Identifying and mitigating IT-related risks that could impact the business, including cyber threats and data breaches.

**Network Administration**:

- Managing and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, including LANs and WANs.
- Troubleshooting network issues and optimizing network performance.

**User Support**:

- Providing support to end-users, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a responsive IT helpdesk.

**Security Awareness**:

- Promoting security awareness and training among employees to reduce security risks.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintaining documentation of IT infrastructure and security processes, policies, and incident reports.
- Preparing regular reports on the status of IT infrastructure and security.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Those without required qualification but relevant experience can be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security roles is preferred.
- Experienced in managing IT projects and teams.
- **Technical skills**: Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, including servers, networks, and data centers.
- Strong understanding of security technologies and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- **Risk Management**:The ability to identify and assess security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- **Compliance and Audit Experience**: Familiarity with compliance requirements and audit processes relevant to IT infrastructure and security.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:

- 13th month salary
