**Position Summary**:
Assist the Chef De Partie to produce high quality food and support him in managing kitchen operations as well as following standard kitchen operation procedures to ensure a smooth and well oriented kitchen at all times.

**Scope and Responsibilities**:

**_Technical Competency_**
- Assists the Chef de Partie to control cost by minimizing spoilage, utilizing food surpluses and portion control.
- Checks the quality and quantity of food received from the markets and stores.
- Ensures the kitchen is always in a safe condition, so as prevent accidents.
- Lead or otherwise facilitate the transfer of information regarding priorities, assignments and problem solving at the various briefing sessions each day.
- Ensure preparation according to recipes and implementation of quality standards in your section.
- Ensure all opening and closing duties are implemented in accordance with established standards.
- Minimize spoilage and wastage by preparing and storing food items according to established standards.
- Ensure a clean work section, hygienic work procedures and high safety standards.
- Prepare market list and foods requisition for your section and submit to the Chef.
- Ensure proper preparation of mise-en-place for your section.

**Background and Experience**:

- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as Commis I or related role.
- Proof of completion in a basic food hygiene course.
- Experienced in customer service with strong guest service, interpersonal and supervisory skills are required.
- Computer proficiency with excellent ability to use Microsoft Office Products.
- A passion for food and the culinary arts.
- Bi-lingual ability in oral and writing will be an added advantage.

**Education**:
Various inside and outside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces.

**Additional Information**:

- Malaysian.
- Fully vaccinated.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends to support park operations.

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:

- Commis: 3 years (preferred)
License/Certification:

- Food Hygiene Course (preferred)
