Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

The role is responsible for product development and product management of Maxis Fixed Wireless Broadband (FWBB) service. This will primarily involve continuous development of new features, packages and product bundling to drive the sales for FWBB, managing the customer journey and reducing churn in order to meet the set targets in terms of GA and revenue.

What are you accountable for?- To spearhead product conception and design and to execute the development and enhancement of the FWBB product with 5G technology as a means to drive the product forward.- To leverage and synergise with the Maxis Business Fibre product to create a compelling proposition for customers.- To drive the sales for the FWBB product via tactical and long term marketing campaigns, promotions & product bundling geared towards convergence in the SME segment in order to meet the product GA, churn and revenue targets.- To provide product support and enablement to the Sales team ( primarily SME) to ensure meeting of mutual revenue and NPS objectives.- To define new product strategies and roadmaps to maintain competitiveness in the market based on sound knowledge new technologies and competitors’ offerings.- To keep track of user feedback, customer satisfaction, dashboards and metrics to measure performance against targets and customer experience and execute improvements where necessary.- To work cross-functionally with teams from Sales, Marketing, Engineering and IT for the successful execution of go-to-market propositions.

What do you need to have for this role?
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Telecommunications or relevant
- Total work experience of 6-10 years, with a minimum 4 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of the mobile business and offerings in this space, especially related to Wireless Broadband services.
- Good grasp of the SME market and its requirements.
- Strong marketing and business acumen to be able to foresee and address the changing market requirements.
- Able to think across the business & focus on business needs - demonstrates deep understanding of solutions that could impact the business, and sees applicability of new, current, or emerging functional solutions to address current business issues.
- Has the capability/ skill at adjusting to the changing situations and overcoming obstacles - takes a broad business perspective to problem solving, leveraging depth and breadth of expertise to contribute to solving complex organizational and functional business problems.
- Ability to recognize and meet customers’ needs - champions the customer's needs within organization, overcoming substantial internal obstacles to deliver greater value.
- Ability to take charge and inspire with a compelling vision
- Good interpersonal skill
