**Job Summary**:
The Finance Executive (Accounts Receivable) is responsible for managing and monitoring all aspects of the hotel's receivables. This includes accurate billing, timely collection, reconciliation of customer accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. The role requires strong attention to detail and close coordination with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Accounts Receivable Management**:

- Generate and issue accurate invoices for guest, corporate, and group accounts.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.

**2. Reporting & Reconciliation**:

- Prepare the Accounts Receivable aging report on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Maintain accurate records of all receivables transactions.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including revenue and receivables reconciliation.
- Support audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

**3. Communication & Coordination**:

- Liaise with the front office, sales, and reservations departments for proper billing instructions.
- Communicate with clients and customers to address queries related to invoicing and payments.
- Coordinate with the bank and ensure timely deposit of cash and cheques received.

**4. Compliance & Internal Controls**:

- Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and internal controls.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data and customer information.
- Assist in implementing and improving internal processes related to accounts receivable.

**5. Additional Duties**:

- Carry out any other accounting or administrative duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or superior.
- Support general finance team activities when required.

**Requirements & Skills**:

- Diploma or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
