Executive, Finance Project

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Project Coordination & Support**
- Take ownership of finance-specific tasks within projects
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management team.
**2. Documentation & Reporting**
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation including finance test log, status report, meeting minutes
- Preparation, creation and approval of BRD/change request where necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all finance-related project activities and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
**3. Data Analysis & Problem Solving**
- Execute Finance project testing, analyze testing data (eg. calculation method, posting book and etc) to ensure alignment with requirement,
- Use Excel tools such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas to generate insights and support decision-making.
- Proactively identify project issues and risks, and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the team.
**4. Stakeholder Communication**
- Work closely with the FC department to understand requirements, translating these into actionable steps for project team
- Collaboration with Project Management to integrate finance tasks into overall project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Facilitate effective communication between functional project teams and management team
- Participate in project meetings to follow-up, provide update and insights
- Serve as FC key point of contact for project-related inquiries, provide clear and concise update and ensure timely resolution
**5. Operational Support**
- Execute various ad-hoc assignments and operational tasks as required, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to organizational demands.
**6. Process Improvement**
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project management, the best practices and process enhancements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and recommending solutions.
**7. Any other ad-hoc task as assigned**
**Requirements**:
**Education & Work experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Treasury or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the financial services or banking sector.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practice.
- Experience with communicating to management regarding reporting and presentation of results. Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.
**Competencies**:
Technical skills:
- Data Analysis and interpretation, with Excel and analytical skills.
- Creative usage of Powerpoint or other presentation methods.
- Strong business programming skills would be beneficial e.g. VBA, SQL.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: Up to RM5,500.00 per month
