**Job Title : Talent and Retention Manager**

**Location : Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia**

**Position Purpose**:
The CoE is just 4 years old. It started with a handful of talented individuals and now has more than 50 team members. The COE is a centralized workforce made up of various digital technology roles that support the different areas of our business specifically for Australia. These team members are experts in software engineering, technical architecture, design, business analysis, user experience, data engineering, digital marketing, and digital marketing. Digital and business operations in back-office functions. The auction business has about 40 employees running the day to day operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working and managing recruiter firms
- Identifying the required staff roles and the developing the job descriptions for the roles required
- Developing strategies and plans for talent acquisition
- Promoting the company's brand
- Developing and implementing employee training programs aimed at improving employee performance on the job
- Reviewing employee performance records to determine if employees should be terminated or promoted based on their performance
- Recommending changes in employee compensation based on market data to ensure that salaries are competitive with other companies in the industry
- Providing regular feedback to employees on their performance in order to help them improve their skills and meet company goals
- Conducting exit interviews with departing employees to identify reasons why they left the company and ways to prevent turnover in the future
- Overseeing employee training programs to make sure that all employees have the skills they need to perform their jobs effectively
- Design, support and continually improve the organizations talent frameworks, tools, and resources for talent planning, performance management, and employee development.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, and motivation of all staff.

**Key Experience**:

- Progressive experience in digital technology talent acquisition within a fast-paced high-growth environment in a previous role with over 100 employees on staff.
- Track record in initiating and executing talent management strategies and programs that deliver short
- and long-term talent strength for the digital technology team.
- A big picture thinker in terms of talent acquisitions and strategy and an overall 360 view of talent management.
- Great interpersonal and motivational skills.
- A love for digital technology industry and trends as well as the people in it including understanding of diverse technology role requirements, market talent trends and challenges.
- A passion for people
- Sound knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Malaysia. Knowledge or exposure to Australia is a plus.
