Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on all content and channel acquisition contracts, as well as related agreements, with sophisticated counterparties in the specialized content acquisition sector. Ensure adherence to tight business timelines and secure necessary endorsements and approvals for deviations from content contract policies. Engage proactively with content managers and the contracts manager to deepen expertise. (85% of time)
- Provide support to the Consumer team regarding various contracts and documentation. (15% of time)
- Proactively assess and address legal and operational risk issues as part of comprehensive legal counsel on contracts, recommending necessary changes and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with various business units and relevant stakeholders to deliver practical and effective legal solutions aligned with Singtel Group’s corporate policies.
- Maintain systematic documentation processes and policies to ensure the preservation of organizational memory within the corporate business group.
- Work collaboratively with and report to the Legal team at Singtel Singapore, ensuring compliance and alignment.
- Develop and implement procedures for contract management that comply with Singtel’s policies, and contribute to or influence company policies as appropriate.
- Lead initiatives focused on improving the user experience in the contracting process.

Requirement:

- Degree in Law and admitted to practice in Malaysia / Singapore / UK / Australia
- Minimum of 8 years' PQE gained in a reputable law firm and in-house.
- Strong legal analytical skills with a good eye for detail and sound knowledge of general corporate and contract law.
- Keen interest in the business and its operations and processes.
- Experience in international contracting matters.
- Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and to meet critical deadlines.
- Able to work well independently as a legal professional and custodian of the company’s policies as well as working collaboratively as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
