**Job description**

STARS International School is an academically driven institution with years of an outstanding record of high performance. We are looking for a qualified and driven individual with experience as a **Primary Mathematics Teacher**to join our dynamic teaching team.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Applicant must possess at least Bachelor Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Mathematics or equivalent.
- Applicant must be able to teach primary students aged 6 - 12.
- Minimum one year’s teaching experience.
- Highly proficient in the English language (Native level speaker/CEFR C2/ IELTS band 8 and above/MUET band 5 and above).
- Applicant should be an energetic, creative and progressive-minded teaching professional with a strong drive to achieve excellence.
- Applicant should be familiar with the Cambridge Primary Education programme.
- Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills with fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- Applicants must be a **Malaysian citizen**.
- Prepare class learning materials, lesson plans and schemes of work.
- Conduct level assessments for new students.
- Keep and submit students’ progress and attendance reports.
- Prepare and conduct assignments, quizzes, assessments, tests, and examinations.
- Mark and assess students’ assignments, tests and examination scripts.
- Do relief teaching when necessary.
- Participate in special school events.
