**Job Summary**:
The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of EkoCheras Mall, its patrons, and employees. They will work under the direct supervision of the Security Executive and assist in implementing security measures, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to security incidents, and supporting car park operations. The Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure and pleasant environment for all visitors and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Patrol and Surveillance**: Conduct regular patrols throughout the mall premises to deter potential security threats. Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance systems to identify suspicious activities.

**Access Control**: Ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas. Verify identification and credentials of personnel and visitors as necessary.

**Emergency Response**: Act promptly and appropriately in emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches. Coordinate with local authorities when necessary.

**Customer Service**: Provide exceptional customer service to mall patrons by assisting with inquiries, giving directions, and addressing concerns in a professional and friendly manner.

**Incident Reporting**: Document all security incidents, accidents, and unusual activities. Prepare detailed incident reports and submit them to the Security Executive.

**Conflict Resolution**: Intervene in disputes or conflicts among mall visitors or employees and assist in resolving issues peacefully.

**Safety Checks**: Perform routine safety checks on equipment, such as fire extinguishers and emergency exits, to ensure they are in good working condition.

**Security Procedures**: Adhere to established security protocols, policies, and procedures. Assist in updating and improving security measures as needed.

**Car Park Operations**: Assist in the efficient operation of the mall's car park, including directing traffic, ensuring parking compliance, and assisting patrons with parking-related inquiries.

**Training**: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on security best practices, emergency response procedures, and car park operation protocols.

**Requirements**:
**Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in security, law enforcement, or a related field is a plus.

**Certifications**: Possess or be willing to obtain relevant security certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.

**Physical Fitness**: Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

**Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.

**Conflict Resolution**: Proficient in handling conflicts and difficult situations in a calm and composed manner.

**Observation Skills**: Keen attention to detail and strong observational skills to detect potential security threats.

**Reliability**: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Ethical Conduct**: Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethical conduct at all times.

**Team Player**: Able to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues and other departments.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
