**Security Officer**
You will provide thoughtful support to corporate security operations onsite. Provide leadership to security guard vendors, monitor and track performance and look for areas of improvement. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to develop a security program that delivers effective and innovative solutions at scale. The Kuala Lumpur position will report to Country Security Manager.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist in developing, maintaining, and implementing security emergency management procedures and plans. Provide oversight for day to day operations of the security team (visitor management system, badging system, attendance tracking), etc.
- Liaise with Govt, LEAs and private sector agencies within the region to protect & enhance the Client’s Global Security.
- Drive the Tactical development of Physical Security Programs for Client’s personnel and operations such as emergency response planning, crisis and incident response,employee welfare check, travel & event security and site security risk assessment.
- Provide operational support and guidance to the Client’s representative on the Crisis /Emergency Management Teams (CMT / ERT).
- Conduct investigations of reported acts of violations / infringements / deviant associate behaviour. Investigation with overt/covert surveillance requirements, fitting both internal & external customer requirements.
- Provide after-hours on-site support if required. Recruiting, training and supervising security officers and guards.
- Proactively identify, escalate and seek mitigation of threats to the safety
- of employees.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, business units, operations teams and local landlords and vendors, developing and enhancing working relationships
- Recommend and coordinate procurement, installation and commissioning of security equipment designed to increase efficiency of security operations at facilities.
- Manage SOCs, implement best practices and procedures for SOC Operations.
Conduct accurate and timely risk assessments of operations, conduct security audits and risk assessments of BD premises and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Support the management of guarding vendors including the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure high quality operational vendor performance in line with our key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Control of security budget, prepare P&L for the region and forecast the security expense requirement.
- Conduct of security awareness training for the team and the BD employees
**Qualification & Experience**
Graduate with 5+ years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, military or other relevant security-related positions. Degree holder in a relevant field of study.
- Security qualifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI, CFE, CBCP are preferred.
Experience in managing the security operations of multiple sites. Formally trained in complex security operations and crisis management.
- Familiarity with access control, CCTV and intrusion detection systems. Computer literate and preferably possessing knowledge in ISecure Center, Lenel System & Badging System.
- Previous Experience of Operations, event security, guard force management, standard operating procedures and post orders & travel security.
- Established network in Intelligence, law enforcement and/or the corporate security industry.
- Willing to work outside of normal office hours and travel when required. Comfortable with regional travelling, sometimes at short notice.
- Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English. Understanding the local language is a must.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and strong business acumen with good analytical skills.
- Ability to operate and communicate effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Collaborative personality who is able to work with diverse teams and across silos to manage complex issues.

**Salary**: RM3,788.00 - RM9,519.00 per month
