a) Responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing Company's employee safety at work.

b) Ensure that the company is in compliance and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines to reduce work-related injuries.

c) Plan and implement Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, programs and procedures.

d) Advice and lead supervisors, managers and other leaders in the Company about health and safety standards and various safety-related topics.

e) Ensure all precautions are taken to safeguard against incidents for areas under your supervision.

f) Review existing policies and procedures and recommending changes to regular activities.

g) Work with HR and involved in induction for new employee on-boarding process for safety,

h) Conduct risk assessment to gather information on safety issues by regularly conducting walk-throughs.

i) Check if all the employees consistently are acting in adherence with rules and regulations and follow safety protocols.

j) Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.

k) Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety and exercise risk management skills.

l) Obtain information and knowledge to keep abreast of industry practice, technological and advancement, new methods, equipment and materials.

m) Perform other assignments to meet business needs as directed by your superiors.

Job Requirement
- Min.2 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
- Good knowledge of legislations and procedures, safety requirements, including OSHA
- Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- BSc/BA in safety management or similar field
- Advanced training or Certificate in occupational health and safety is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
