RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Delivery of Group/Country initiatives, systems and procedures at the site by training validation and assessment of implementation
- Initiate the review and update of Risk assessments (for new processes,(upon change and at least once every 2 years)with the isk area owner.
- Conduct training to the team i.e risk assessment, permit to work, rules etc
- Check with other managers that actions are decided after the toolbox talk or briefings
- Monitor and update progress of directives, audits, assessments etc
- Be the safety focal point in a project team in their respective area.
- Collecting, updating and analysing all HSE KPIs.
- To assist in the develop, coordinate and monitor of safety, health and environment programmes within the organization
- To carry out inspection/audit to identify issues or non conformity
- To act as liaison between the company and government agencies in all aspects of safety, health & Environment
- Support site management on investigate incidents to determine causes, review recommendation and communicate
- Oversee contractor safety management procedure.
- Any other job responsibilities which may be assigned from time to time in the opinion of the site manager.

**Requirements**:

- Must possess min OSH diploma with 1 year working experience or min 3 years of working experience if do not possess OSH qualification in the concerned area.
- Must have completed NIOSH safety officer certificate.
- Must have knowledge of HSE related legal requirements (OSHA, FMA & EQA)
- Soft skills: collaborative, good communicator, safety role model, respected worker

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
