Job Description

  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and identify hazards with recommended corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, national, and industry-related health and safety regulations (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, etc.).
  • Provide safety training to employees, including emergency procedures and correct PPE usage.
  • Ensure daily toolbox meetings are conducted before work starts; attend client and internal safety meetings and share safety updates with management and workers.
  • Investigate accidents/incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records for safety inspections, incidents, training, and meetings.
  • Organize and promote safety campaigns to strengthen overall safety awareness and culture.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or relevant professional certification in Occupational Safety & Health is acceptable.
  • Min 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction settings.
  • Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH Malaysia (Green Book holder).
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian regulations including DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, and related compliance standards.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
