**D. Overall Purpose of the Role**
The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) is primarily responsible for coordinating all site-based Occupational Health activities under the guidance of the Occupational Health Doctor (OHD).
In the capacity of Medic - Onshore, the nurse provides critical support in emergency healthcare services for the workforce at the client site. This includes overseeing the clinical and medical operations of the clinic and supporting medical evacuations when necessary.

**E. Key Responsibilities**

**Patient Care**
- Conduct clinical consultations, delivering quality healthcare services aligned with professional standards.
- Ensure patient care continuity through appropriate follow-up and referral processes.
- Assist in the development and execution of preventive healthcare initiatives, including medical screenings.
- Deliver competent and professional healthcare services in accordance with International SOS standards.
- Manage patient triage and flow within the clinic effectively.
- Liaise with International SOS Assistance Centres (AC) and Coordinating Doctors to prepare patients for medical evacuation.

**Quality Assurance and Administration**
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Advisor to uphold quality assurance and achieve consistent medical outcomes.
- Adhere to the current Medical Services escalation protocol during case management.
- Seek advice from AC when prescribing medications on site.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation as per International SOS clinical standards.
- Assist in maintaining and managing clinic medical supplies and equipment.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure medical service delivery is efficient and compliant.
- Track clinic usage data in approved formats.
- Perform periodic self-audits using approved tools, identify gaps, and create action plans with the Assistant Operations Manager to maintain clinic readiness and compliance.

**Promotion of International SOS Services**
- Represent International SOS professionally.
- Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement across the clinic.
- Support the promotion of International SOS services to clients.
- Participate in public health and health promotion initiatives, including personal protection and disease prevention efforts.

**Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHS&E)**
- Comply with company OHS&E policies, procedures, and standards at all times.
- Encourage good health and safety practices in the workplace.
- Participate in OHS&E programs and contribute to achieving related KPIs.
- Take responsibility for personal health and safety and that of others in the workplace.

**OH&S Responsibility**
- Help maintain a safe, healthy work environment.
- Complete all mandatory OH&S training.
- Follow all reasonable instructions, policies, and procedures for safe work.
- Support management in meeting its OH&S obligations.
- Report injuries, hazards, or illnesses promptly.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Serve as a medical escort during medical evacuations when required.
- Promote awareness of first aid and CPR among site personnel.
- Implement and maintain emergency medical response plans.
- Follow and support all International SOS policies, procedures, and corporate values.
- Engage in continuous improvement of services and procedures.
- Conduct Drug & Alcohol screening as per SOPP and client requests.
- Supervise the ambulance driver, ensuring roadworthiness and readiness of the ambulance.
- Support site medics in trauma and emergency cases.
- Report unsafe acts or conditions.
- Attend HSE department meetings when required.

**F. Job Profile**

**Required Qualifications**
- Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (Medical Assistant Board or Nursing Board).
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) from NIOSH.
- Understanding of local safety legislation and regulations.
- Valid medical check-up and vaccination certificates.

**Required Skills and Knowledge**
- Certification in ACLS / ITLS or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of general medical practices.
- Experience in both primary and emergency care.
- Any additional certifications required by site-specific regulations.

**Medical Services**
- Treat all medical cases, including trauma and general ailments.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation (PCR, MAL, etc.).
- Communicate with the Assistance Centre for serious cases
