Cafe Manager/supervisor

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Management**:
- Oversee daily operations of the cafe, ensuring adherence to quality and service standards.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, providing ongoing coaching and development.
- Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and workflow.
- **Customer Service**:
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Ensure high standards of service are maintained at all times.
- **Financial Oversight**:
- Assist in managing budget, expenses, and inventory control.
- Monitor sales and financial reports, implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
- **Health & Safety**:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the cafe and kitchen areas.
- **Menu Development**:
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- **Marketing**:
- Assist in promoting the cafe through social media, events, and community engagement.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of cafe operations, inventory management, and cost control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
