PPG is looking for a Quality Intern to join our team at our Petaling Jaya Plant. This internship program may range from 6 to 12 months depending on different Universities' requirements. You will work on-site and report directly to the Plant Manager. **Main Responsibilities** - Perform daily quality control inspections and tests on raw materials and finished products. - Provide immediate feedback to the Quality Engineer on any quality issues. - Help maintain quality control logs, documentation, and reports. - Help with ongoing projects and improvements in the Quality Control Department. - Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement in quality control processes. - Help with investigations into customer complaints and product rejections. - Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment. - Complete any other tasks as directed by the Quality Control Engineer. **Qualifications** - Diploma or degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. - Knowledge of continuous improvement methods. - Familiarity with chemical equipment and measurement concepts. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Detail-oriented with good organizational skills. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
