**This position will be a part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function of Tech Data APAC’s Center of Excellence (CoE) location in Malaysia. You will be part of a full-fledged centralized FP&A team in KL, Malaysia to support TD’s businesses across APAC countries. You will facilitate the financial planning and reporting process and ensure teams deliver timely reporting in accordance with corporate accounting policies.**
**This position shall report into the FP&A Manager in the COE and work closely with Finance team members in the APAC region.**

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **Financial reporting **- Prepare, analyze and summarize various weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis. Performs quantitative analysis of operational and financial data and draws qualitative commentary to present to management key business performance metrics.**
- **Planning process **- Builds budgets and forecasts of future company performance. Prepare and direct the compilation of annual plan and present analysis of monthly forecast vs. actual results. Highlight and understand major forecast assumptions and their effects on financial outlook. Perform sensitivity analyses to assess reasonable range of outcomes.**
- **Process improvement **- Continuously develop tools/systems and automate processes. Evaluate current processes and implement improvements. Manage the implementation of a budgeting and forecasting solution to streamline the forecasting and budgeting processes and provide enhanced reporting functionality.**
- **Financial modelling **- Prepare comprehensive corporate financial models with an integrated set of financial statements, assumptions and metrics. Analyze past results and future outcomes in conjunction with market analyses to develop recommendations for changes in model assumptions. Perform sensitivity analyses to assess reasonable range of outcomes. Perform post-mortem analysis.**
- **Builds and manages financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources.**
- **Prepares financial reports for internal use at the company by collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting information.**
- **Builds and maintains a corporate financial model that details the entire company’s operations and projects future performance.**
- **Performs ad hoc analysis for executives as required**

**Key Requirements**:

- **Associates minimum; Bachelors or above preferred**
- **Approximately 3 - 5 years experience in Finance Planning and Reporting, in MNC.**
- **Proficient in knowledge of SAP.**
- **Is a sound business partner and is able to comprehend the needs and quickly provide timely financial analytics for decision making.**
- **Ability to work independently in Matrix organization**
- **Experience of implementing change in a complex environment, working with a wide range of stakeholders**
- **Uses collaborative thinking with assistance from manager or other Analysts.**
- **Critical thinking skills and ability to evaluate information and analyze data objectively and make a reasonable judgment**
- **Problem solving skills, ability to diagnose problems efficiently, proposes a solution and drives through implementation.**
