**Position Title**: Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian - Day/Night

**Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated **Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Veterinarian** to provide urgent, high-quality medical attention to small animals and exotic pets suffering from trauma, toxicity, or acute medical conditions. You will be responsible for physical assessments, diagnostic procedures, emergency surgeries, and developing individualized treatment plans.

This role involves close collaboration with fellow ECC team members and veterinary specialists. Exceptional communication, record-keeping, and a compassionate approach toward clients are crucial. A strong commitment to clinical excellence, professional integrity, and continuous learning is essential.

**Reporting To**: Department Specialist
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Work Schedule**:

- **Day Shift**: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (3-day work week including weekends, public holidays, and occasional nights)
- **Night Shift**: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (3-day work week including weekends and public holidays)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver emergency and critical care during scheduled shifts
- Participate in daily inpatient rounds at shift change
- Conduct consultations and manage both day and night emergency cases
- Perform physical exams, diagnostics (e.g., TFAST, AFAST, bloodwork, radiographs, CT scans), and emergency procedures
- Stabilize patients in critical condition, including trauma and poisoning cases
- Prescribe and administer appropriate treatments
- Collaborate with technicians and specialists to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and follow-up
- Keep thorough and accurate patient medical records
- Coordinate inter-departmental transfers and liaise with referring clinics
- Manage high caseloads under pressure with professionalism
- Uphold ethical veterinary standards and best practices
- Engage in ongoing training and ECC team development

**Requirements & Preferences**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in veterinary practice
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- ECC certification is a plus
- Endoscopy or gastroscopy experience preferred
- Veterinary degree must be recognized by Singapore’s Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS)
