Assistant Finance Manager

**Finance**
- Responsible to manage and oversee the overall financial and accounting functions and accounts staff of the Company and its subsidiary including cost accountant.
- Ensuring the accounts are prepared accurately and timely for reporting including monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting report.
- Responsible for preparation for consolidated accounts and provide financial information to the Directors and Headquarter in Yemen, including monthly financial requirements statement.
- Required to liaise with other departments and the subsidiary within the group and provide guidance on finance and accounting matters.
- Manage cash flows and banking facilities including preparation of cash flow projections and hedging of foreign currencies.
- Liaise with both internal and external parties such as bankers, auditors and company secretary on all treasury, statutory and compliance matters.
- Preparation of monthly and yearly budget which includes control & monitoring budget spending.
- Responsible to accounting policies and procedures including to strengthen, enhance and develop internal controls to improve the overall Group finance operations.
- Perform and manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles.
- Review and ensure each component of profit & loss (P&L), pending balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets management such as depreciation, inventory items and stocktake.
- Review monthly GST/SST reports.
- Attend import audit.
- Review, analyse and advise on revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments. and future revenues.
- Make strategic recommendations on efficient usage of resources, procedures and maintain solutions to business and financial issues.
- Review and recommend opportunities to reduce expenditure and optimise efficiencies to improve profits.
**Costing**
- Monitor and advise on the cost accounting system development that ensures accurate costing.
- Review and analyze standard and actual costs for variances and prepare reports.
- Recommend on the segregation of overheads into Fixed and Variable and allocation to SKUs’ for fixing selling prices.
- Collaborate with other department on process improvement / automation initiatives that would affect in time and cost efficiency results.
- Advice on the proper systems / standards for control of production wastages.
- Validate monthly gross margin report analysis by Products / SKUs.
- Identify and finalize data to determine costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labour.
- Review account reconciliation of physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Oversee report on Cost-Volume-Profit Analysis and Break-Even Sales / Capacities.
- Guided on the creation of cost centres and identifying and analysing costs and eliminate redundancies.
- Critical Analysis of Input Material Price.
- Review and assessment of Plant Costing operations.
- Work on special projects as and when required.
**Requirements**:
- Must possess at least a Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Banking or any Professional Certificate ie. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA & etc.
- Minimum of 10 years of finance and accounting experience, audit, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience on SAP in Finance / Costing / MM modules including on reporting tools.
- Experience in product costing is an added advantage.
- Required to travel to the KL office when needed.
- Proven track record of contributions for improvement of systems & controls in mitigation of losses and wastages.
**Salary Range**:RM10,000 - RM12,000, excluding benefits
**Salary**: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
