Billing Specialist

Billing Specialist Overview of Position: The Billing Analyst is mainly responsible for contracts set up, issuing invoices to the customer and plays a vital role in revenue recognition of the organization, ensuring accuracy of billing to customer. What you will do: - Review signed agreements and PO, and perform necessary set up in system. - Generate accurate invoice to customers. - Pay attention to details on customers’ special requirement. Also, country requirement on GST/VAT purposes. - Reviews on system data to ensure all customer master, contract data & services is up-to-date. - Fixing errors, i.e. contract end date, services upgrade/downgrade. Create credit memo when needed. - Update item on hold for accrual, recalculate & regenerate revenue. - Reconcile customer AR with service contract setup. - Checking on taxation amounts, i.e. GST/VAT or withholding tax, etc. - Reviewing contract, checking on Job Setup in system and ensure system information are same as contract. - Prepare weekly reporting to ensure no missing billing. - Provide information to internal and external customers regarding billing matters. - Ad-hoc assignment such an intercompany billing. - Create credit memo & rebill. - Ensure all customers supporting documentation in place with customer reference number. - Maintain customer contact information in the system. - Work with accounting team to ensure all revenue is captured correctly. Otherwise, need to work with accounting team to rectify the revenue portion. What we need from you: - Minimum 2 -3 years’ experience in a similar role with proficient in MS Excel. - Previous experience in the communications or oil and gas industry preferred. - Ability to handle situations in a professional business manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent time management with problem solving skill. - Knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese language will be considered an asset Working at Speedcast: At Speedcast, we want people that like adventure.
