Associate IT Business Analyst, AS400

As we move our business toward the digital frontier to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers, we are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an **Associate IT Business Analyst (AS400)**. In this exciting role, you will be working with business users and technical designers to ensure proper translation of business needs to IT solution requirements.

The Role:

- Responsible for identifying, documenting, and analysing business requirements for business value and implementability
- Conduct walkthrough of requirements and preparation of documentation for users' sign-off
- Perform business modeling and architecture
- Re-engineer business processes and rules where necessary
- Collaborate with technical designers in ensuring business requirements are addressed in the design
- Prepare test scenarios
- Perform System Integration Test and provide support for UAT
- Train business users where necessary
- Evaluate analytical and documentation tools
- Perform Proof of Concept

The Person:

- Preferably tertiary qualification in IT
- Possess professional certification in Insurance (e.g. LOMA)
- Has minimum 2 years working experience in life insurance operations
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
