St Joseph’s Institution International School (SJIIS) is a Lasallian International School (3 to 18 years). We teach the UK National Curriculum, with the exception of Singapore Maths. The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is used as a vehicle for teaching cross-curricular units. The school has an emphasis upon research-based teaching pedagogy and a character-programme, based on the Virtues Project and inspired by the school’s Lasallian heritage. This includes service learning initiatives, and a holistic approach to sport, music and the arts.
Experience of teaching EAL at IGCSE and A Level is desirable.

**Requirements**: We are looking for a committed, passionate and knowledgeable professional who will work proactively to ensure the best possible teaching of EAL.
**Responsibility**:
- To teach pupils assigned to your class within the school and carry out duties as required by the Head of Department
- To promote the Lasallian Mission and Core Values of SJIIS
- Ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reports meet the expectations of the school
- To actively contribute to wider school development and growth
- Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge
- Demonstrate a proactive approach towards professional development
