**Reports To**:
Flight Operations Manager, Operations Control and Flight Dispatch

**Role Purpose**:
The Assistant Manager, Crew Rostering and Disruption Management, is responsible for overseeing and optimizing crew scheduling and ensuring operational efficiency in managing disruptions. This role ensures that the airline's flight operations remain compliant with legal, regulatory, and safety standards while maximizing crew utilization. The Assistant Manager will plan and work closely with various teams such as operations control, flight dispatch and crew tracking control to handle real-time challenges and disruptions in a dynamic operational environment.

**Key Accountability**:

- Participate and uphold the safety and security policies and procedures in line with flight operations objectives.
- Manage deployment of crew system-wide arising from flight schedule changes and crew roster changes to achieve optimum crew utilization.
- Coordinate and provide support services to Flight Operations (Fleet Operations, Training, Flight Safety & Ops Compliance, Ops Planning Support, In-Flight Services (IFS), and Operations Control Centre (OCC) with regard to crew matters, crew training, crew qualification, safety compliance and On-Time flight departure performance (OTP).
- Liaise with other operations departments, including Stations with regard to Flight Crew and Cabin Crew matters, flight schedule changes and other operational disruptions.
- Plan and implement continuous process improvement for the Department to achieve a high standard of staff proficiency and self-morale.
- Comply with applicable regulations as well as company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support the achievement of safety as well as performance targets.
- Provide guidance and equip staff with the required proficiencies and training to enable them to perform the tasks and responsibilities assigned.
- To ensure the best level of staff integrity, staff discipline and to evaluate and appraise staff performance by following the company rules and good management practices, which provide them with the correct deployment, guidance, and counselling.
- Prepare budget and ensure proper financial management of the department.
- To generate management reports and respond to Voyage Reports (VR) from the crew.
- To monitor and supervise the management of all CTC operations activities.
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned by FOM, Operations Control & Flight Dispatch.
- Responsible for take over the duties of FOM OCFD during his absence.

**Qualifications & Working Experience**:

- SPM with 10 years' experience in Crew Rostering and Crew Tracking Control or;
- Diploma in Aviation Management or equivalent with 5 years' experience or;
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management or equivalent with 3 years' experience.

**Areas of Experience**:

- Experience in managing rosters and real-time disruption handling.
- Experience in adjusting schedules in response to crew shortages, operational changes and last-minutes disruptions.
- Proficiency in using rostering software to automate crew assignments and rotations while ensuring compliance with Flight Time Limitation (FTL).
- Proficiency in using rostering and Crew Management System.
